Description
Rachel Morgan has recently arrived in the rubble of Hamburg in the bitter winter, where she is reunited with her husband, Lewis, the British colonel in charge of rebuilding the devastated city. Things may change completely at that moment. When they set out for their new home, Rachel was astonished to discover that Lewis would do a strange job sharing the big house with its former owners, a German widower and his troubled daughter.
